We love custom orders! Most of our products can be customized in size, colour and style. Most product listings have a customized version, with the word "Custom" in product title. Or, please visit our Custom Order page to find the product you’d like to customize. Custom orders usually take 4-6 weeks to complete (custom scarves take 6-8 weeks). If you are interested in creating something that we don't carry in our shop, please share more information with us at info@softstrokessilk.com. If you have pictures, that’s even better. If you would like us to replicate an item, for example, a vintage dress, you can mail it to us. Some unique items we have created in the past include hair bows, retro-style lingerie, massage table headrest covers and silk lingerie bags.
Please refer to our size chart (usually the last image in the product listing) to find your size in our system. If you are in between sizes, we recommend that you size up. You can also order a customized item for a perfect fit.
We require different measurements depending on the item you choose. This is noted in the item description. Please measure using a tape measure. If you don’t have one, an easy alternative is to measure yourself using a thread, then measure the thread using a ruler. The tape should be snug but not uncomfortably tight. If you are buying lingerie or loungewear, we recommend measuring without any clothes on. If you are buying blouses, then keep the bra on.

We currently have two pickup locations. One in Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario; the other one in Markham, Ontario. We don't have storefronts, so these are pickup locations only. To book a pickup, please email info@softstrokessilk.com. Products low in inventory may only be available in one of the locations, so let us know the product (item, size, colour, quantity) you are interested in when emailing. If you'd like to try something on, we may be able to accommodate you around the Liberty Village area. Please message us for details.
