FAQs

Silk eye mask keeps you cool and is friendly to your skin. Silk is moisture-wicking. Its smooth surface doesn't give you creases or wrinkles. Silk is also hypoallergenic, as it is naturally resistant to allergens including dust mites, mould and fungus.
While we could customize 99% of the products in our shop, silk eye mask is the only thing we cannot customize. Our silk eye masks have long-strand mulberry silk fillings that have to be pressed and cut in perfect shapes using a special machine in the factory. This is one item that cannot be handmade.
We have noted the measurements of each style of our eye mask in the product copy. For adults, our Aviator style is slightly larger than the Float style.
While all our eye masks block the light well, the darker colours (black, navy) definitely block the light a little better than the others.
We currently have two pickup locations. One in Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario; the other one in Markham, Ontario. We don't have storefronts, so these are pickup locations only. To book a pickup, please email info@softstrokessilk.com. Products low in inventory may only be available in one of the locations, so let us know the product (item, size, colour, quantity) you are interested in when emailing. If you'd like to try something on, we may be able to accommodate you around the Liberty Village area. Please message us for details.
