Inspired by the lounge dresses of the 1920s, the Estelle is a decadent piece brimming with vintage details. The rounded neckline and shoulders are outlined with playful silk ribbon trim and small rose applique details add a romantic touch. Expertly tailored into a loose A-line silhouette, the waistline features a cinched design with an added self-tie belt to create a flattering look. Much like the dresses of the Art Deco era, the Estelle is the perfect dress for casual outings or simply elevating your at home attire. 

This dress is customizable; you can choose to include or exclude the ribbon or rose details as you wish. Send us a message to discuss any changes you would like made.

We need your height, bust, waist and hips measurements and your preferred dress length. Alternatively, you can choose from our size chart. If you choose slits, please let us know the slit length. Please leave your measurements and preferred colour for both silk charmeuse (body of the dress) and silk chiffon in the Notes section in your cart before you check out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find your size chart?

We have two types of products: ready-to-ship and custom.

Ready-to-ship products have their size charts in the images. Usually it's the last image, so please scroll to the end.

Custom products have "custom" in the product name and are made to order. For custom products, we make each item based on your measurements, so please read the product copy for measurement requests. You could also use our size charts for custom products, in which case please refer to the size chart image.

How fast do you ship?

We usually ship in 1-3 business days. That being said, we deal with a lot of wedding orders, PR orders and corporate gifting orders, so we understand the sense of urgency.

How do I take care of my silk?

Most of our items can be machine washed (put in a laundry mesh bag, wash on the delicate cycle, use gentle detergent and hang to dry), even though hand washing is recommended to maintain the lustre of silk. However, silk scarves are very delicate and can only be hand washed.

Where are you located? Can I pick up my order/go in to try something on?

We currently have two pickup locations. One in Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario; the other one in Markham, Ontario. We don't have storefronts, so these are pickup locations only.

To book a pickup, please email info@softstrokessilk.com. Products low in inventory may only be available in one of the locations, so let us know the product (item, size, colour, quantity) you are interested in when emailing.
