This is fantastic quality for a good price

This is fantastic quality for a good price. I wanted a single layer bonnet that would breathe in the summer and it does. My head doesn't wake up sweaty and the bonnet stays on well. Going from a very wide, lightly gathered band to a skinny band with a ton of fabric on it was an adjustment, but not uncomfortable. One thing to note is that the elastic gets twisted up inside the channel and it's hard to untwist because of how densely the fabric is gathered over it

We love custom orders! Most of our products can be customized in size, colour and style. Most product listings have a customized version, with the word "Custom" in product title. Or, please visit our Custom Order page to find the product you’d like to customize. Custom orders usually take 4-6 weeks to complete (custom scarves take 6-8 weeks). If you are interested in creating something that we don't carry in our shop, please share more information with us at info@softstrokessilk.com. If you have pictures, that’s even better. If you would like us to replicate an item, for example, a vintage dress, you can mail it to us. Some unique items we have created in the past include hair bows, retro-style lingerie, massage table headrest covers and silk lingerie bags.
Our ready-to-ship bonnets are good for long and fine hair; however, if you hair is both thick and long, we recommend that you order via our custom bonnet link, while indicating the height of the bonnet (from edge to top of the bonnet) so we can make one that fits you.
Silk charmeuse has two sides: the "right" side, which is smooth and shiny; the "wrong" side, which is matte. Single layer bonnets are built with "right" side facing out and "wrong" side facing your hair. Double layer bonnets have two layers of silk, so the side facing out and the side facing your hair are both the "right" side. If you'd like to get a single layer bonnet but have the "right" side facing your hair, feel free to place an order via our custom bonnet link.
Most of our items can be machine washed (put in a laundry mesh bag, wash on the delicate cycle, use gentle detergent and hang to dry), even though hand washing is recommended to maintain the lustre of silk. There are a few items (for example: silk scarves) that cannot be machine washed. Always read the "Material and Care" section in each product copy to be sure.
