If you’re as much of a nerd about colour theory as I am, and if you’ve made it this far I’m just going to assume you are, you’ll know the colours in our homes have a big impact on our moods. With that in mind, it wasn’t too surprising which colours came out on top for our custom home bedding orders.
Not a shocker, but white was easily the most popular of the custom home orders for 2025, with specifically #26. Cotton White and #40. Pearl White coming in neck-and-neck for the first spot. Both true whites, Pearl White is a bit cooler than Cotton White. White often symbolizes cleanliness and peace, and is probably one of the most universally versatile colours out there, hence why our customers come back to it again and again. Fun fact, Cloud Dancer, a shade of white, is the Pantone Colour of 2026, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see it pop up this year as well.
Next is #89. Navy, which often came through custom orders as full bedding sets. Navy evokes a sense of authority and strength, commonly used in military uniforms of the past, while also conveying sophistication and calmness thanks to its deep, rich tones. Despite being a deep shade of blue, navy is often regarded as a neutral colour thanks to its ability to pair beautifully with many other colours, so it’s easy to see why so many customers chose it for their bedding.
Finally, we have #66. Elephant Grey as one of the most popular bedding colours of 2025. It’s a mid-tone grey and like many of the other popular colours of 2025, it’s incredibly versatile. Similar to navy, there’s an understated elegance and calming effect to Elephant Grey, and when made from beautiful 32 momme silk, there’s dimension to the colour that can only be described as "otherworldly."
2025 was an intense year and I think the colours that customers were selecting in a way reflected that. These colours are timeless, dependable and (yes I’m going to say it again) versatile. There’s an effortless beauty to them that you don’t have to think too hard on to just know that they work. They’re not in your face, but stand out all the same and integrate easily into whatever space you need them to fill, whether that be your new favourite pair of underwear that only you know about to get you in the right mood, or a bedroom set up that helps you relax after a long day.
With spring looming around the corner, it truly feels like the year is ramping up and I’m excited to see what colours inspire our customers in 2026.
