Breathable

Before getting this bonnet, I had tried wrapping my hair in polyester satin material overnight; I found that too hot. So I decided to try this single layer silk bonnet and it is much better; it is breathable and I haven't been feeling too warm. I also like that the elastic is adjustable so I was able to loosen it to make it more comfortable. I am not quite sure why the smooth side is on the outside so I just wear it inside out so that the smooth side is touching my hair. Lastly, I am not sure if I have a big head but my bonnet appears smaller than how it looks on the model - but I am happy with that as I have medium/short hair. I recommend this bonnet to anyone who is looking for a breathable option.

This is perfect

Wanted to keep my hair from always tangling and this is perfect. Slides off at night some times but thats the way I sleep/ toss and turn!

I just received my Soft Strokes silk bonnet and I am so happy with the quality. I am a home sewer and I can tell you that the sewing on this item is top quality and the silk is wonderful. I looked online at a lot of bonnets before choosing this one. My goal is to be able to protect my hairstyle so that I can resurrect it easily in the mornings; but, I sleep very warm and the notion of a double layer bonnet or a synthetic fabric bonnet was not very appealing. Also, I was hoping to be able to find a bonnet with an adjustable elastic so that I can make it as tight or loose as I require. This one ticks all those boxes! A lovely bonus was the beautifully made matching silk drawstring pouch that it came in. Don't waste your money on cheaper bonnets if these things are important to you. Thank you for such a nice product!

Just wish there was more colors

First time using one of these & I love it! It has always bugged me to feel my hair against my neck & ears at night while trying to sleep - this is a much healthier option for my hair vs ponytails that hurt my hair. I also used to wake up with sweaty or frizzy hair not using it, and now I wakeup and my hair looks and feels great. Just wish there was more colors!
